Cash Generator appoints four North West Agencies
Discount retailer Cash Generator has appointed four North West agencies to drive forward its 2011 marketing campaign.

Mere PR, McCann Manchester, Cube 3 and Photolink have each been selected for their specific skill set, and will report directly to Cash Generator’s newly appointed marketing director, Stuart Owens.
As the discount retailer unveils its plans for 2011, which include continued expansion and the development of its buy, sell and loan concept, the four agencies will be working closely together to ensure the marketing objectives set for the year are met.
Cheshire based Mere PR will be responsible for the franchise recruitment plan, working with national, trade and online media to secure new franchisees to the network and encourage existing franchisee to expand. As Cash Generator’s retained PR agency since 2008, Mere PR has also been tasked with launching new stores.
McCann Manchester will undertake the brand strategy for the discount retailer, a project that will shape the marketing campaign for 2011 and beyond.
The Macclesfield agency will also handle Cash Generator’s advertising brief, spearheading a national TV campaign that aims to raise awareness of the brand and providing regional and local media opportunities across the network.
Having worked with Cash Generator for many years, design specialists Cube 3 will overhaul the discount retailer’s POS as well as unveil up-dated corporate literature, including a quarterly franchise brochure as well as a series of national and trade adverts.
Photolink Creative Group, who first started working with Cash Generator in 2006, has been appointed as the discount retailer’s web agency.
Photolink Creative Group will manage the discount retailer’s website, improving functionality and the customer journey as well as developing the buy, sell and loan concept online. The Manchester agency will also investigate new digital commerce channels for Cash Generator.
