The Stentor Student II Violin is the ideal instrument for intermediate Grades. Built to be both durable and reliable, this Student Violin feels comfortable and offers superb tone. For beginners and intermediate violinists, this 4/4 size outfit is a fantastic choice. Body Construction The Stentor Student II model is exquisitely carved from solid tonewoods for a long-lasting feel. With a carved spruce front and carved maple back and ribs, the violin has a luxury feel and appearance despite its reasonable price. The combination of spruce and maple contributes to its exceptional range of tones and resonance, making it a top instrument to learn on. Neck The violin is fitted with a carved maple neck which offers a smooth feel in the hand as you make your way along. Topping the neck is a hardwood fingerboard for a traditional and comfortable playing surface. Hardware and Accessories Hardware is well-constructed, consisting of high quality rosewood pegs and a composite alloy tailpiece with integral adjusters. The bridge retains a firm connection between the spruce front and the strings for a well-balanced sound output. Stentor also add in a well-built student wood bow that connects perfectly with the strings when you play. A resilient, lightweight case is also included to protect the violin wherever you take it, perhaps from the house to your lesson. The case has handy accessory pockets and carrying straps allowing for easy transportation.
