Step 1.
Research: Firstly, research the franchise market in the UK and look at all options available to you. Use our website to get a good understanding of our marketplace and services. You can also send for a copy of our brochure and information pack which includes information of our current business franchise opportunities and application form.
Step 2.
Apply: After you have finished reading through the material, and have decided that you are interested in our business franchise opportunities at Cash Generator then complete the franchise application form and post it back to us at our Head Office address. Upon receipt we will arrange for you to come to Head Office for an Open Day.
Step 3.
Investigate: Talk to our franchisee network to learn more about us. (You will receive an identification card after the Open Day, which will allow you to speak to ALL existing franchisees). We would encourage you to talk to them and find out exactly what it is like to run a Cash Generator business.
Step 4.
Appraisal: Once you have visited some of the existing franchisees and are ready to go to the next stage we will arrange for you to do an appraisal in one of our company stores. This will allow us to see how you communicate with customers while at the same time and most importantly for you to see what it is like working on the shopfloor of one of our stores.
Step 5.
The offer: Once you have passed the appraisal and we have taken up personal and business references, then we would be in a position to offer you a franchise. Should you decide to accept the franchise, then a small deposit is paid to our property agent to start the search for a suitable property. The initial franchise fee of £19,950 + VAT is due 14 days before the start of your initial 8-week NVQ approved training course.
Step 6.
Premises: You will now work with the property team to find suitable premises from which to trade.
Step 7.
Business plan: Once the property has been found and the rent and rates agreed we would invite you to Head Office to work on the business plan.
Step 8.
Secure Finance: You would then present the business plan to a bank. A Cash Generator Director would be available to attend this meeting if required.
Step 9.
Training: Once the finance and lease have been agreed in principle a date would be set for your training course. At this point you will meet with our store opening project manager who will guide you through every aspect of the opening procedures including shop fitting, licences etc. He will also work with you the week prior to opening and on the opening day. Once the store is opened a regional manager would be appointed to support you and your business throughout the term of your franchise agreement.
Step 10.
Opening: You work with Cash Generator's Start-up Support Network to get your store ready for opening, then open your store and enjoy the rewards of being in business for yourself, but not by yourself.
